Project Details:
The Location of the site being East London presents a number of challenges with regards to access and egress to site. The site itself was constricted due to the size of the working area. To overcome this problem Poppet Groundworks fabricated the steel cages off site and had them delivered at the right time to allow them to be installed straight away. The site was also too small for any traditional concrete pour, so Volumetric Concrete Loads were brought in with snap on pumps from a specialist company in order to pour both slabs. There were a number of difficulties but with the right motivation and team work they were all overcome.
